BLOCK21 Fitness was designed to bring the fun back to your workout. Making exercise something to look forward to is what we're all about. Our classes target each muscle group to give you that dancer's body while releasing more endorphins than any night out on the town. Come learn some moves, boost your confidence, and get that six-pack you've always wanted.

Meet Sally

When I was 7 years old, my mom brought home a keyboard in efforts that my siblings and I might learn to play it (or even just become slightly musically-inclined). We definitely had some fun changing the keys to drum set sounds and alien noises, but I honestly can’t remember any of us ever sitting down to play. I became far more interested in the preprogrammed beats that were available at the touch of a button with titles like “Funky Groove” or “Heavy Rap”. I began to choreograph routines to these beats and put on shows for my family. My mom soon realized that I might never learn to play the piano but enrolled me in my first dance class instead.

I started taking classes from the age of 8 and never looked back. I wasn’t the best in the class and never had professional aspirations, but there was something about it that made me light up inside. There is no greater feeling than losing yourself on the dance floor. And the best thing about that? You don’t need any dance experience to capture that feeling. That’s where BLOCK21 comes into the picture. I wanted to give everyone a chance to access that feeling while making exercise actually fun at the same time. This class by no means easy, but when you combine a playful attitude, good (LOUD) music, and a group of people that are seeking to share the same experience, you’re able to dig a little deeper and just have fun.
